My scalp really looks nasty... Every time I comb my hair, I can see white, gel-like "wax" clogging up my pores.

Being a "weed ambassador", this was my title for years 🌱, and I would do anything, including frequent bleaching and coloring. Until one day, I thought I had washed out too much dye and was literally “shedding” hair. Last year, I went to Tokyo to consult a renowned doctor 😂. It was my first time taking a scalp examination! There was a thick layer of white, gel-like substance that completely tells me is absoutley in no shape or health! A healthy scalp should be seen as flesh-colored, with visible pores that are not white. Each hair emerging from the pore should be of the same thickness, and each pore should have at least 3 thick hairs!! The whole head should be in this condition!!

After seeing my scalp, my first thought was, "Oh no... I did something wrong 😭😭." My hair continued to fall out, thinner than ever before, and the color faded out quickly not long after I had colored it.. From a healthy scalp to an unhealthy one, the devil was called "wax". Wax is a collective term that includes chemical products in hair dye, additives in shampoo, mineral oils in conditioner, and centuries-old dirt and grime which lived on the scalp – Yucks!

Wax directly causes trouble! These waxes accumulate in the pores, making the pores too close up and leaving no room for hair growth... Each pore can produce three hairs, but when it becomes tinier, room for only lets say two hairs can grow, and then eventually even less, only one hair, and in turn you can picture your hair thinning out... When the last hair also becomes too thin to survive, the hair follicle officially withers away 😪. This is called hair follicle atrophy!
